The upper and lower zonal adjustability are ensured by the BOA® Fit System featuring two H-Series Dials with 1:4 mechanical advantage, increasing the speed of entry into the boot. The Dual Zone Configuration allows micro-adjustable precision fit in two separate, distinct zones for greater response and control.

Dual Zone BOA® Fit System The dual top and bottom zonal adjustability is ensured by the BOA® Fit System. The bottom section is activated via the BOA® dial on the side of the boot and the top section from the BOA® dial on the tongue of the boot. This zonal adjustment solution allows for a precise fit ensuring a tailored foothold. The system can be loosened or tightened fast and effortlessly with the turn of the BOA® dials. Vibram® Outsole with ECOSTEP™ Compound Vibram grip and traction and an Eco-friendly approach: This is the eco-sole from NITRO …. made of Vibram® ECOSTEP™ Compound, an eco-friendly recycled rubber compound developed by Vibram® and made up to 30% of recycled rubber. The rubber scrap generated by Vibram’s production process is recycled in order to produce Vibram® Ecostep compound. It’s a High-quality compound formulation, which offers a very good Vibram grip and traction on snow while preserving the environment through the waste reduction.

Zippered Gusset Nitro´s new gusset construction improves protection from the elements around the lace area on top of the foot and high ankle boot area. It enhances the level of water and snow leakage protection to keep your feet dry and warm while also adding to the durability of the boot and its lacing system (Standard, TLS, or Boa®).

Internal Ankle Support An anatomically shaped molded plate distributes lace pressure over the instep and top ankle area. Resulting in more comfort and a better, more precise fit.

ILS (Internal Lacing System) Our ILS system features a lacing harness firmly connected to the boot shell. This harness snugly wraps around the liner, securing it in the shell and providing precise lacing and fit. Our engineered ILS laces provide less friction and a Dyneema® core for added strength.

Patented Re/Lace Liner Locker The Re/Lace Liner Locker provides a secure and true liner lace lock every time, while additional allowing for easy adjustability of your inner boot lacing when your boot shell is already tied, by simply pulling up on the lace handle. This allows you to (re)tighten your liner and foothold throughout the day (wherever you may find yourself on the mountain) without having to untie your boots shell lacing system.
